Thom Scheele is a REALTOR® and Certified Residential Appraiser with Williams & Co. at Keller Williams Coastal and Lakes & Mountains, serving buyers and sellers across Southern Maine. With professional appraisal experience dating back to 2014, Thom brings clients a rare combination of real estate guidance, market value insight, and practical property knowledge.
Thom is Williams & Co.’s resident Midwesterner, born and raised in the heart of the country. After heading to Minnesota for college, he became a self-described Colorado ski bum, earning his way onto the slopes by taking professional family videos at a ski resort. A few years later, he traded ski boots for flip flops and moved to the Caribbean as a family resort portrait photographer.
Soon after, Thom met the love of his life, Sarah, and built a 14-year photography contract business with Club Med. He also owned and operated a Life is Good store in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Both businesses strengthened his belief in high-level customer service, teamwork, and bringing a positive mindset to every interaction. They also gave him fluency in Spanish, which allows him to better connect with and serve Spanish-speaking clients.
After Thom and Sarah chose Maine as the best place to settle down and raise their family, he became a Certified Residential Appraiser, eventually owning and operating his own appraisal firm. Through that work, Thom met Troy Williams, one of the founders of Williams & Co., and the two quickly recognized a shared work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to doing business the right way.
Once Thom’s children were older and more independent, he accepted Troy’s long-standing invitation to join the team. Today, Thom brings his appraisal background into his real estate work, helping clients better understand property value, market conditions, and the details that can influence a buying or selling decision.
Clients benefit from Thom’s calm communication, real estate valuation experience, and thoughtful approach to the process. Whether he is helping someone buy a home, prepare a property for sale, or think through the value of a property in Southern Maine, Thom’s goal is to offer clear guidance rooted in integrity, authenticity, and real expertise.
Thom and Sarah live in Falmouth with their two children. When he is not working, Thom spends as much time as possible with his family exploring the many opportunities Maine has to offer.
